The Atlantic Heritage Center is just a short drive from the beaches of Atlantic City and Ocean City.  We are also within walking distance of numerous area attractions including the Somers Mansion, Somers Point Historical Society, and the Somers Point bayfront with shopping, restaurants, taverns, theatre, beaches and parks.  Put us in your plans for a day filled with fun!

Admission / Fees:

Admission to the Atlantic Heritage Center Library and Museum is FREE.

There is a nominal daily library research fee for non-members.

Admission fees apply for most special events - refer to the Events page for details.

Admission to the Risley Homestead is FREE.

Accessibility:

We apologize, but the Atlantic Heritage Center and Risley Homestead facilities are not handicapped accessible.

Driving Directions to Atlantic Heritage Center:

We are located on Shore Road in Somers Point just north of the Somers Point Circle.

From Philadelphia and points West:

1. Atlantic City Expressway eastbound to Garden State Parkway southbound (exit 7S).
2. Garden State Parkway south to exit 30 (Somers Point / Ocean City).
3. Straight through traffic light at Route 9 intersection - follow Route 52.
4. At traffic circle, follow circle 3/4 around and exit onto Shore Road (Route 585).
5. Atlantic Heritage Center will be on your left - look for our sign.
6. Pass building and make immediate left onto Somers Avenue - parking and entrance at the rear of the building.

From Delaware and points South:

1. Cape May Lewes Ferry to Cape May, New Jersey.
2. Garden State Parkway northbound to exit 29 (Somers Point / Ocean City).
3. Follow Route 9 to second traffic light and make a right onto Route 52.
4. At traffic circle, follow circle 3/4 around and exit onto Shore Road (Route 585).
5. Atlantic Heritage Center will be on your left - look for our sign.
6. Pass building and make immediate left onto Somers Avenue - parking and entrance at the rear of the building.

From North Jersey and points North:

1. Garden State Parkway southbound to exit 30 (Somers Point / Ocean City).
2. Straight through traffic light at Route 9 intersection - follow Route 52.
